Demonstrating extraordinary skills, Preesha scored in the 99th percentile for advanced fifth-grade students in both the verbal and quantitative sections of the test. This achievement not only brought her Grand Honors but also made her eligible for more than 250 CTY’s Online and On-Campus Programmes, catering to advanced students in various disciplines such as mathematics, computer programming, chemistry, physics, reading, and writing.

Preesha’s Intellectual Endeavors and Interests

Remarkably, Preesha is also a lifetime member of the Mensa Foundation, a globally renowned high-IQ society. She earned this membership at the age of six by scoring in the 99th percentile in the Naglieri Nonverbal Ability Test (NNAT). Apart from her academic pursuits, Preesha enjoys traveling, hiking, and practicing mixed martial arts.

Parent’s Perspective and CTY’s Vision

Her parents have always observed her deep passion for learning and her consistently exceptional academic prowess. Amy Shelton, the Executive Director of CTY, emphasizes that this recognition is not merely about performance on a test but a testament to the student’s curiosity and capacity for learning. She encourages these young scholars to seek experiences that challenge them, connect with like-minded individuals, and confidently pursue their goals.
