Jammu and Kashmir On Sunday, heavy snowfall affected normal life in Jammu and Kashmir. Authorities have urged residents to avoid unnecessary movement in the hilly and mountainous areas, emphasizing the risk of avalanches. The situation is expected to improve from Tuesday onwards, according to the Meteorological Department forecast.
Arunachal Pradesh The weather department predicts light to moderate scattered to fairly widespread rainfall and snowfall in Arunachal Pradesh from February 3rd to 7th.
Weather Update Delhi NCR
Delhi and NCR According to the RWFC Delhi update on February 5th, light intensity rain and drizzle are expected in and around the National Capital Region (NCR). The IMD forecasts partly cloudy skies with dense fog in the morning, affecting visibility.
North India Light to moderate rain accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning is predicted in North Madhya Pradesh, East Rajasthan, and East Uttar Pradesh, with isolated pockets experiencing hailstorms.
East India Isolated to scattered rainfall is expected over West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Mizoram, Manipur, and Tripura from February 4th to 7th.
Fog Conditions:
Dense to very dense fog conditions are likely in the morning hours over some parts of Punjab, Haryana-Chandigarh-Delhi on February 5th, and in isolated pockets on February 6th. A yellow alert for dense to very dense fog has been issued in Delhi and Punjab on February 5th.
Extended Forecast:
The IMD predicts dense fog conditions in morning hours in isolated pockets of West Uttar Pradesh, North Rajasthan, Gangetic West Bengal, Assam, Meghalaya, and Odisha on February 5th and 6th.
